MIDIAN WORSHIP

About Midian Worship

The Story of Midian Worship

From a young age, I’ve always found that my relationship with God always had a deep musical component. In certain songs, it felt like I could feel God in the dynamics of the songs. I love the way that sound can bring us farther than words and can take us further in the understanding of who God is and what he has for us.

We strive to bring an authentic, God driven time of worship to each event. Each event holds no church higher, no theory/thought higher, but is designed to bring people from all walks of life, all different theologies, all different churches, to worship the one God we all acknowledge that exists and is the centre of our being.

Midian comes from the story of Moses. In Exodus we read about a man named Moses. His family was enslaved and he was adopted by Pharaoh’s Daughter. We read an incident where Moses kills an Egyptian and then flees for his life.  Moses runs to a place called Midian, where he finds rest and refuge.

In my journey and times of trouble, the musical expression of worship has always brought me back to God. It has helped me heal from deep wounds and bring me out of tough times. It only seemed fitting to call this ministry Midian Worship.
